No matter how you get to the Grubigstein in the Tyrolean Zugspitzarena—by gondola or on foot—the view of the Zugspitze will take your breath away. And the 2.4-kilometer toboggan run that follows is sure to be fun for the whole family.
In Lermoos is the longest natural toboggan run of the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena. Start is at the Brettlalm at the middle station of the Grubigsteinbahn. From there, the toboggan run leads directly to the valley station of the Hochmoos-Express.
The Hochmoos-Express is also ideal for mountain transport of people and toboggans which are available in sufficient quantities at the valley station of the Hochmoos-Express.
At a length of 2,8 kilometers with interesting and varied course overcomes the toboggan run a height difference of 330 meters. A toboggan ride on the Lermooser natural toboggan run is funny for all which also invites to repetitions. Of course, the valid ski tickets can be used for mountain transport and of course the mountain railways offer their own toboggan fares.
When snow conditions are suitable, evening tobogganing every Wednesday from 18:00 - 21:30 at the Hochmoosexpress.
