Description

This easy toboggan run begins in the middle of Westendorf’s ski resort. Ascend with the Alpenrosenbahn (gondola) to the mountain-top station. The toboggan route No. 117 begins right outside the mountain restaurant “Talkaser”.  Accompanied by a magnificent backdrop, toboggan into the enchanting Windau valley. The destination is the Schrandlhof – a cosy inviting inn, to relax and enjoy refreshments.  The ski bus, departing every half hour, brings you back to the Alpenrosenbahn in the village (from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m, from end of January to 4.30 p.m.). Toboggans are available for hire in all ski rental shops in the village. Refreshment stops along the route include: Talkaser, Fleidingalm and Schrandlhof.
