This tour takes us past the houses and villas of the rich & beautiful in Kochau area of Kitzbühel. Including a short yet beautiful section of trail.
The Kochau-Hechenmoos Loop starts at Café Neumayr in Aurach. Begin by running uphill on Auweg towards Oberaurach on an asphalt path. After about 800 meters, reach the junction at the recycling center. Cross the road and take the beautiful trail behind the recycling center, leading to the Kochau district. Run through Kochau on the road, passing some of the most expensive houses in Kitzbühel, where you might even spot a celebrity. Just before the 3 km mark, turn left and follow the road downhill with a small uphill section in between until you reach the main road at Hechenmoos. Cross the road, then after 50 meters, turn right onto the narrow road towards Kitzbühel. Follow this road until you reach the main road again, opposite the starting point.
