A very diverse landscape run that not only takes us past the Schwarzsee, but also the Gieringer and Vogelsberger ponds.
Starting at the Schwarzsee parking lot, the Steuerberg Run offers plenty of parking and a post-run refreshment spot at the Strand Café. Begin by heading towards Kitzbühel, briefly running along the lake, then towards the Alpenhotel, through the forest, and once more along the lake. After about 2 kilometers, turn right, and then right again below the Wald am See farm. Run towards Bichlach, a winding area requiring close attention to the signage. The route includes a mix of trails, gravel paths, roads, meadows, and forests. Pass by Vogelsberger Weiher and Gieringer Weiher until reaching Münichau. From there, turn left towards Schwarzsee, following the signs back to the starting point.
