The trail running loop Putzen - Leutkircher - Walcherer Höhe - Nessleralm - Stöcklweg – Jakobusweg - St. Anton is a difficult high-alpine tour covering 27.1 km with about 1500 meters of elevation gain, suited for highly experienced and endurance-strong trail runners. Starting in St. Anton, the route climbs steeply to the Leutkircher Hut and continues to the Walcherer Höhe at over 2200 m, before descending on demanding mountain paths into the Stanzertal. The return runs via the Nessleralm, Stöcklweg and Jakobusweg back to St. Anton, offering a varied alpine trail running experience with wide views over the Verwall and Stanzertal valleys.
