Easy winter hike from the Sixenhof local history museum to the scenic Stod Waterfall in the Oberautal valley. 3.1km, almost flat, about 1 hour return.
From the Sixenhof local history museum, head west to the Schrambacherhof. From here, a flat path leads into the Oberautal valley. Right after the last farm-house and the Stod chapel, you will see the waterfall next to the path. The return is via the same route.
Take the regional bus to Achenkirch (lines 4080 or 390) and get off at the bus stop "Achenkirch Fischerwirt".
Take the Achensee main road B181 to the northern end of Lake Achensee in Achenkirch. The Sixenhof museum and car parks are just a few metres from the lakeshore and well signposted.
