Description

From the village centre in Hintertux in the direction of Alpenbad Hotel Hohenhaus (house no. 774), then right along the road past Haus Windegg (house no. 748) and Haus Christina (house no. 740) to the fork in the road. Turn left there and continue along the forest road (trail no. 17) to the Bichlalm.
After a good refreshment, descend from the hut on the prepared descent path no. 15 into the valley to Hintertux. Above the fence to the avalanche dam. Follow the wide path along the dam to the tunnel. From here, walk into the valley on trail no. 11 to the end of the valley with the Hintertux glacier railway.
