The picturesque region of Grän, nestled in the breathtaking nature of the Tannheimer Tal, offers an idyllic setting for enthusiastic hikers in winter.
It should be noted that there is an increased risk of accidents and injuries while winter hiking. Especially in winter, special attention must be paid to the condition of the trails. Suitable clothing, good footwear, and possibly hiking poles provide additional safety. Stay on the marked paths.
Modern and well-maintained equipment (shoes, poles, and clothing) not only provides a considerable amount of safety but also greatly facilitates winter hiking. Sun protection (high SPF and possibly sunglasses) as well as sufficient fluids should not be forgotten.
The starting point of this winter hike is the center of Grän, where hikers set out to inhale the fresh winter air and be enchanted by the silence of the snow-covered surroundings.

On the A7 motorway, take the "Oy-Mittelberg" exit onto B310 towards Wertach and then to Oberjoch. From there, follow the signs "Tannheimer Tal" B199, exit Grän.
From the Tyrolean side via Reutte on B198 towards Lechtal to Weißenbach, over Gaichtpass along B199 to exit Grän.
