Description

The starting point for this circular walk is on the eastern shore at Café Restaurant Seestüberl. From there, follow the paved path no. 822 along the northern shore to Goingstätt and Pension Maier, enjoying the magnificent view of the frozen lake. Shortly before Pension Maier, turn left and follow the signs towards Seestüberl (path no. 822) until you reach the forest path on the south shore. Please note: the following section is not cleared and may be difficult to pass depending on the weather conditions (black ice/fresh snow). The forest path runs through the woods, alternating between ascents and descents, until you reach the ‘Hintersteiner See Süd’ junction. There, turn right and walk to the Greidern farm. From here, follow the paved path towards Seestüberl until you reach your starting point on the eastern shore again.
