Description

From the Maurach village centre walk along the village road to the St. Notburga church in Eben. Above the St. Notburga church next to the tracks of the Achensee steam cog railway a broad gravel path (long-distance cycle route münchen venezia) descends to the Inntal valley. Follow this path until you reach the house with the number 227 in the district Erlach in Wiesing. The way back is via the same route or take the public bus back to Lake Achensee.

  • Arrival by public transport

    Take the regional bus to Maurach (line 8332, 4080 or 390) and get off at the "Maurach a. A. Rofan Seilbahn" stop.

  • Parking

    Rofan Seilbahn car park 1 or 2 (paid parking; cable car passengers receive a refund at the ticket office).
