Easy walk from the Rofan Seilbahn with 115 metres of elevation gain to St. Notburga Church, a well-known pilgrimage church. Approx. 1.5 hours return.
From the valley station of the Rofan cable car, follow the Achensee main road for approx. 200 metres in the direction of Eben. Turn left and follow the forest road. After approx. 50 metres follow the signpost “Zur Kirche” (to the church). Walk along the panoramic path along the Stations of the Cross until you reach the St. Notburga
church. The return is via the same route.
Take the regional bus (line 4080, 8332 or 390) to Maurach to the valley station of the Rofan cable car and get off at the "Maurach Rofan Seilbahn" stop.
