Description

From the valley station of the Rofan cable car, follow the village road to the roundabout in the village centre. Turn right there and take the footpath towards Lake Achensee. Keep right and walk past the Atoll Achensee, the Buchau shipping pier, and the Prälatenhaus. After the Prälatenhaus, you will reach the Seeuferstraße; turn right. Continue through the underpass of the Achensee federal road until you reach the district of Buchau and then the Familienresort Buchau. The footpath continues to the next underpass. From there, take the village road back to the village centre and the car park at the valley station of the Rofan cable car.

    Take the regional bus to Maurach (line 8332, 4080 or 390) and get off at the "Maurach a. A. Rofan Seilbahn" stop.

  • Parking

    Car park Rofan Seilbahn 1 or 2 (paid parking; Rofan cable car passengers receive a refund at the ticket office).
