The Nessleralm winter and snowshoe hiking trail in Pettneu in the Stanzertal starts at the information office and follows the marked route eastward as an easy and well-walkable winter tour. The path first leads along a paved road and then continues on a forest track up to the alpine hut. From there, wide views open up toward the Verwall peaks to the south and across the central Stanzertal with the villages of Schnann and Flirsch, before returning along the same route.
