We can visit the Pfundser Tschey at any time of year. Even in winter, this natural setting—with its many scattered barns—is a delight to explore.
An easy and pleasant winter walk through the Pfundser Tschey to the Maria Schnee Chapel, which is accessible to anyone without difficulty. It is also accessible once a week by the hiking bus.
Pleasant winter hike in the idyllic Pfundser Tschey starting at the parking area near the Tscheylücke. From there, follow the signposts towards Platzertal and continue through the wide winter landscape of the Tschey. Along the way you pass the small chapel Chapel Maria Schnee. After around 2.5 kilometres you reach the end of the winter hiking trail. The return follows the same route at first, but after a short distance you can turn right onto a prepared winter hiking path across the meadows, creating a pleasant circular walk.
