Asphalt, forest road, hiking trail
From the church square in Schwendt, pass the Danzl Alpine Dairy and then turn right toward Schlecht. At the next intersection, turn left, pass the Hackerhof, and head downhill through the forest. Then keep to the right until you reach the Lucknerhof Inn. From here, you can connect to Kössen via Winter Hiking Trail No. 12. For the return trip, take the Lucknerweg toward Unterschwendt to the municipal maintenance yard. From there, turn left and follow the state highway back to the starting point.
