The route depends on the snow conditions (usually: in direction café Zacherl, St. Nikolaus chapel)
This beautiful snowshoe hiking tour begins at parish church and leads via Kaiserbergstreet past the fountain to the fork in the path where we turn onto Saliterweg. At the border of the village we put on our snowshoes. We follow the path until we leave track at the right-hand bend. Across meadows we get to the cross Aschingeralm and Plafind and parallel to the street we follow up for 350m to Aschingeralm and turn right in the direction of the forest.
In the forest we keep on the traces of the summer hiking track and keep left until we reach a forest road. We cross the road and follow the track until the next forest road. We follow this forest road to our left and arrive below Cafe Zacherl. Keep on going in the same direction across meadows in the direction of Ebbs and after 1km we follow the upcoming street to Oberbuchbergweg. We turn left and reach the meadows above Ebbs. At this point we turn right and walk downhill across the meadows to the farms next to the Kruckweg. We take of our snowshoes and walk back to the church.
