Appropriate equipment such as breathable and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing, wind, rain, snow and sun protection, a hat and gloves is required for all hikes and routes. Carrying a first aid kit, a mobile phone and possibly a route map, as well as sufficient provisions for routes without opportunities to restock, is necessary.
The beautiful snowshoe trail leads in a sunny location through the forest from Sattele to Marlstein. The access is located immediately after the parking lot on the right side.
Travel comfortably and safely by train to Ötztal train station. At the station you will find public transport or local taxi companies happy to take you to your desired destination! The current bus schedule is available at: http://fahrplan.vvt.at
