Winter hike Tux-Lanersbach - high-level path to Gemais - Tux-Vorderlanersbach - Lanersbach

From the Rastkogel cable car via the historic hamlet of Gemais to the Rosenkranzkapelle chapel, along the Tuxbach stream and back over picturesque bridges - a tour full of views and special places.

Description

At the valley station of the Rastkogel lifts ascent to the hamlet of Gemais (listed farm settlement) on the goods road; Descent via path no. 21, opposite house no. 241 and 242 below the road to the Eggalmbahnen valley station. Cross the L 6, at the Tux-Center (house no. 401) to the ice skating rink along the access road, walk over the "Tennisbrücke" and turn left, out of the valley along the Tuxbach take trail no. 10 to Tux-Vorderlanersbach. Cross the "Testerbrücke" bridge to reach the Maria-Hilf chapel in the immediate vicinity of the Rastkogelbahn bus stop.
