By bus to Walchsee Dorf

Start at the Walchsee Information Office and head north. Follow Hausbergstraße to the parking lot at the soccer field. Then turn right immediately and walk about 2.5 km through the forest on a gentle incline to the Riederalm (open for business), then continue straight ahead to the Ottenalm (open for business).
Return via the same route as the ascent.
