The picturesque hiking trail leads from the church in Lechaschau along the Lech to the sports field. Here you can enjoy the tranquillity of the river and take in the winter wonderland. Past the children's playground and the idyllically situated St. Koloman chapel, the trail winds its way via Hinterbichl up to the Frauensee lake. The ascent through the snow-covered landscape is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the wintry silence and clear air.

Once at the top, the romantically situated Frauenseestube invites you to take a break. Serving hot food throughout the day, you can expect home-style dishes that taste particularly good after a winter hike. Enjoy the cozy atmosphere of the hut while you let your gaze wander over the frozen Frauensee.

The way back leads across the vast, snow-covered fields of Lechaschau, past the charming Ottilien Chapel, back to the village center and to the starting point at the parish church of St. Geist. The wide fields offer you a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains and make the descent a relaxing experience.

If you arrive by car, you can choose the parking lot at the Langtennen lift as an alternative starting point for this beautiful loop. This access point offers convenient parking and is in the immediate vicinity of the hiking trail.
