The picturesque hiking trail starts at the church in Lechaschau and follows along the Lech River to the sports field. Here you can enjoy the tranquility of the river and take in the winter nature. Passing by the playground and the idyllic St. Koloman Chapel, the trail continues winding through Hinterbichl up to Frauensee. The ascent through the snowy landscape is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the winter stillness and the crisp air.
Once at the top, the romantically situated Frauenseestube invites you to take a break. With a continuously warm kitchen, hearty regional dishes await you, which taste especially good after a winter hike. Enjoy the cozy atmosphere of the hut while gazing over the frozen Frauensee.
The return path leads over the vast, snow-covered fields of Lechaschau, past the charming Ottilien Chapel, back to the village center and the starting point at the parish church of the Holy Spirit. The wide fields offer a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains, making the descent a relaxing experience.
If arriving by car, the parking lot at the Langtennenlift can be chosen as an alternative starting point for the beautiful loop. This starting point offers convenient parking and is in close proximity to the hiking trail.
