From Tieflehn to Mittelberg/Gletscherblick closed
The start of this signposted and inspected 10.5 km snowshoe hike is in Weißwald and leads past Plangeroß, Tieflehn and Mandarfen to Mittelberg. It is possible to join the hike or shorten the route at any of the villages. For experienced snowshoe hikers, the Taschachschlucht gorge awaits as a highlight in Mittelberg. It is advisable to enquire about the conditions in the gorge at the tourist office in Mandarfen (+43 5414 86999) or at the Pitztal Mountain Guide Association (+43 5413 20366).
