Description

The Leutasch Fishery
The fishing rights at Lake Weidach and the Leutascher Ache are currently owned by Dr. Thomas Angerer. He operates a recognized quality fish farming business and specializes in the production of stocking and table trout. The farm breeds brown and rainbow trout as well as char. "Fish Roastery" - we will gladly grill your catch on site for you.

Located in a dreamlike setting, here you have the opportunity to fish from early April to the end of Octoberwithout prior registration for a small entrance fee. A fishing test is not required, which is why the fishing pond is very popular with beginners. Those without their own equipment can easily rent gear. The lake is also excellent for fly fishermen, as fishing is done from a 400 m long wooden jetty.

OPENING HOURS:
from April 1 to November 1, Tuesday to Sunday from 07:00 to 19:00! Monday is a day of rest, except on holidays. In winter, adjusted opening hours apply. Information on current opening hours can be found here.

A special experience - Ice Fishing
In Leutasch, winter presents itself in its most beautiful form: Snow-covered forests and snow blankets sparkling in the sun, surrounded by mighty mountains. Nestled in this winter landscape lies Lake Weidach at 1123 m. Here, holes are drilled into the thickly frozen ice surface, where fishermen can then try their luck with a short ice rod.

Cafeteria and Fish Delicacies
In winter, the small cafeteria with an open fireplace invites freezing ice fishermen to warm up with mulled wine and homemade hot drinks after a successful catch. In summer, you can relax wonderfully on the spacious sun terrace while watching the fishing activities from a shady distance.

If you enjoy fish but do not want to fish yourself, you can stock up on fresh trout and chars in the on-site sales shop.

Good luck in fishing!

Please note, this is not a swimming lake!
