Seefeld Railway Station

Sale of VVT & ÖBB tickets at the information mobility center in Seefeld (Tel.: 05/0880) located directly in the train station building.

Description

The new information and mobility center has been comprehensively modernized and opened at the train station in Seefeld in time for the FIS Nordic Ski World Championships 2019.

A modern and friendly "gateway to the region," it offers not only barrier-free travel options, public restrooms, ÖBB ticket machines, and a tobacco shop nearby, but also an appealing new tourism and information office right in the village center.

As a showcase of modern infrastructure and sustainability, the new train station building is optimally connected to regional transport with weather-protected platforms, dedicated bus terminals (to Mösern, Leutasch, Reith, and ski bus), taxi stands, an underground parking garage (2 minutes on foot from the station), 2 electric charging stations, covered bicycle parking spaces, and a spacious Park & Ride area. The new mobility center now records over 50 train stops (REX & S-Bahn) on weekdays and weekends.

The train station in Seefeld is barrier-free equipped and provides all travelers with comfortable access. A level boarding from the platforms to the trains is possible, allowing those with limited mobility, strollers, or luggage to board and disembark without difficulty. Elevators are available for step-free access between levels. Additionally, a tactile guiding system supports blind and visually impaired individuals in orienting themselves on the station premises.
