Come rain or shine, summer or winter, the Atoll Achensee in Maurach is a family-friendly leisure centre offering plenty to see, do and experience on the shores of Tirol's largest lake.
Facilities at the Atoll Achensee include a sports pool, a water play area, an infinity pool, a penthouse spa, a lakeside gym and a climbing wall. In total the leisure centre covers 6,500 square metres and offers majestic views of the surrounding landscape, including Lake Achensee itself. Children will enjoy exploring the St. Benedikt ship, which has been converted into an adventure playground, while fitness fans can try out the modern machines in the gym and climbers can defy the laws of gravity by scaling the heights on the boulder wall with its 1400 handholds and footholds. Visitors in need of a little rest and relaxation after all that action can withdraw to the sauna area or cool off in the outdoor pool. Outdoor facilities also include a beach volleyball court, tennis court and football pitch. In winter there is an artificial ice rink and even a cross-country skiing trail leading right past the Atoll Achensee. Last but certainly not least there is a selection of fine food available for hungry swimmers.
