The Neue Prager Hütte (2,796 metres) is a German Alpine Club mountain hut and an important base for hikes in the Venediger Mountains in the Hohe Tauern National Park, East Tirol.

The Alte Prager Hütte (Old Prague Hut) really is an old mountain hut. It was built in 1872 by the Prague Division at 2,489 metres above sea level, south-east of the Großvenediger mountain. After being destroyed four years later by an avalanche it was built all over again, although it received a rival in the form of the Neue Prager Hütte (New Prague Hut) only a few hundred metres away in 1901. The old hut has since closed. The Neue Prager HÜtte, however, is full of life and offers mountain climbers excellent food and lodgings during tours of the Venediger Mountains. The very hospitable host family take care of the well-being of each and every guest. The beautiful natural surroundings also contribute to one’s general well-being, as the fascinating alpine and glacier world of the Hohe Tauern Mountains never fails to impress. Well-known surrounding mountains: Großvenediger, Kleinvenediger, Kristallwand, Rainerhorn, Schwarze Wand.

From Matreier Tauernhaus via Innergschlöß (Venedigerhaus), past the Alte Prager Hütte (4.5 to 5 hours).
