Galzigbahn und Vallugabahn

Lift closed

The Galzigbahn cable car leads from the village of St. Anton up onto the Galzig mountain, while the connecting Vallugabahn is made up of two sections. Visitors change from the Galzigbahn to the Vallugabahn at the mid-way station on the Vallugagrat ridge. Together, these state-of-the-art cable cars connect the Galzig and Valuga mountains. During the journey from Tirol to the neighbouring province of Vorarlberg visitors can enjoy fabulous views of St. Anton am Arlberg and the surrounding region, which offers a huge range of hiking, biking and rock climbing trails in summer. There are a number of restaurants and huts high in the mountain serving traditional local food.
