Wildlife enclosure in Auland

Year-round open wildlife enclosure in Auland/Reith.

Description

If you are on the way between the Seefelder Wildsee and Auland/Reith towards Enzianhütte, you will discover a year-round open wild animal enclosure just after the Cäcilien Chapel.

Here, you have the opportunity to observe and even feed the wild sheep, also known as mouflons, in their natural environment. It's a wonderful chance to experience these fascinating animals up close. However, please always consider the welfare of the animals and use only the feed available from the designated vending machines for feeding. This way, you help ensure that the animals are adequately cared for while preserving their natural behaviors. The wildlife enclosure is also easily accessible by wheelchair.

Enjoy this unique experience in the heart of nature.
