The Bergbahnen Westerndorf cable cars give summer visitors the opportunity to explore the beautiful Kitzbühel Alps during the warm months of the year. For sports enthusiasts there are more than 700 kilometres of hiking trails catering for all ages and abilities as well as plenty of mountainbike rides connecting cosy wooden huts serving excellent traditional food.For children and families the village of Westendorf is one of the most popular destinations in the region thanks to its guided nature hikes. There is also the "Alpinolino Westendorf"adventure playground teaching youngsters all about flora and fauna in the Alps.
