Maria Waldrast Toboggan Run

This toboggan run from the place of pilgrimage Maria Waldrast down to the village of Matrei am Brenner is one of the most popular in Tirol. In the shadow of the mighty Serles mountain (2,717m), the traditional tavern at the top – run by the monks living in the adjacent monastery – serves food and drinks to weary tobogganers at the end of the 90-minute ascent. Exciting and with plenty of high-speed corners, the 3.6km run is floodlit until 23.00 from Thursday until Saturday.
