There are 2 sport climbing gardens in the vicinity of the lake near the Kreithof and the Dolomitenhütte.The Camping Seewiese is also the best starting point for alpine hiking and climbing tours in the Dolomites or trips to the Hohe Tauern National Park with the Großglockner, Großvenediger and another 200 three-thousand meter peaks, as well as trips to South Tyrol / Italy."
