Description

In the midst of the old town of Hall in Tirol lies the Mining Museum Hall in Tirol.

The tunnel, replicated from the salt mining in the Halltal valley, gives guests an informative insight into the history of salt extraction. Since the year 1967, the mine with its tunnels in the Halltal valley has been closed. Salt is no longer extracted here. Nevertheless, the artificially created tunnel in the old town of Hall in Tirol allows visitors to dive into the world of mining. Shafts, tools, minerals, a slide, and much more give one the feeling of being "underground" themselves. Good luck!
