Church Square Going
The church square is the heart of Going. On one side stands the baroque church, where well-known personalities have tied the knot, and on the other side, the view opens up to the popular photographic motif of the Wilder Kaiser. The square is characterized by an artistically designed fountain and the music pavilion, which comes to life once a week when the federal music band Going performs its atmospheric summer concert.
On five Friday evenings in summer, the picturesque church square transforms during the craft market into a lively stage for almost forgotten skills and traditional crafts. The Bergdoktor film tavern and the film pharmacy are also located directly at the church square, which serves as an ideal backdrop for film and theater.
