A generous design and abundant pews are evidence of the once significant "ranking" among the many chapels of Söllandl. The Erlach chapel lies on the path of the regional connection between Söll - Bocking - Blaiken - Schwarzach -Scheffau. In the past, hikers, carters and pilgrims would have liked to take a short break at the chapel or send a prayer to heaven when they tackled or passed the numerous hills.
