Description

The "Goldene Glocke" inn was another traditional business in the village and was called the "Zum Glockenschild" brewery from around 1700. It was founded by Hans Georg Knicker and was owned by the noble von Wiesenegg family from 1874 to 1990. Part of the pub, which is well worth seeing, can now be viewed in the Green House Museum. The modern façade design, which refers to the fire disasters that have hit Reutte several times, was created by artist Rolf Aschenbrenner.
