Description

The centrally located inn "Zum goldenen Hirschen" is one of the oldest inns in Reutte. In 1615, Christoph Zeiller, father of the baroque painter Paul Zeiller, acquired the wine tavern for his large family. The inn remained in the hands of the respected Zeiller family for over a century and then passed to the Geisenhof family, who were finally granted the "Bräustattrecht" in 1782. Brewery operation until 1906.
