Grabherr House

Information

Source: TVB Naturparkregion Reutte

Description

The facade painting with the richly designed mock architectural portal frames dates from around 1800. On the long front of the house, at the centre window, a medallion with a rose and a platter held by two putti still point to the "Zur goldenen Rosen" restaurant. At the end of the long side of the "Grabherr House" is the "Tower" - Untermarkt 27. The "Tower" is probably the oldest surviving building in Reutte.
