Description

The building dates back to the 16th century and wall paintings from the time of construction have been preserved on the second floor. Today, the building is home to the museum of the market town of Reutte. On display are works by the famous Zeillere family of painters and Anna Stainer-Knittel, better known as "Geierwally". Other topics include the eventful history of the Reutte market, the salt trade, the Via Claudia Augusta, archaeological finds and Ehrenberg Castle.
