Built in 1700 as a place of prayer for lumberjacks, the Waldkapelle used to serve as accommodation for lumberjacks who spent many nights in the town's mountain forests. Today, the place invites locals and guests alike to linger in the tranquillity of nature. The chapel can be reached from the Motorikpark in Kufstein via a path or a comfortable forest trail.
