Description

The Passion Playhouse in the Passion Play town of Erl is one of the most striking buildings in the Kufsteinerland region. Originally, it was intended for the Passion Plays held every six years. Since 1989, however, the unique building has also been used for the Tyrolean Festival Erl. Up to 1,500 people can attend the various high-caliber cultural events. Interested parties also have the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of the Passion Playhouse in Erl. Tours are possible before and after events or at an agreed time. The tours are free and last about an hour.
