Description

The present church dates from the time after the fire in 1703. The baroque interior of the church was destroyed in the catastrophic fire of 1846. furnishings of the church were destroyed. In the course of the last major church renovation from 1964 to 1967, the neo-classical furnishings of the 19th century were removed. Today, the sober church interior is adorned by a few, but all the more valuable works of art: the late Gothic group of figures of "Anna selbdritt", created by the important Allgäu sculptor Jörg Lederer around 1510/15, was spared by both fires.
