Description

The former "Schwarzer Adler" inn from the 18th century is particularly impressive with its façade painting, which was executed by Josef Anton Köpfle (1757 - 1843), a pupil of Joh. Jakob Zeiller, around 1800. The Resurrection of Christ can be seen under the gable. Classical mock architectural paintings - such as columns and pilasters, Empire vases, leaf and cloth festoons - frame the portal and the windows, as well as the skilfully crafted wicker latticework above the entrance.
