Description

The Barmer Hut, a refuge of the German Alpine Club (DAV) section Barmen, invites hikers and mountaineers to a relaxing rest. Located in the beautiful Alps, the hut offers cozy accommodations and warm hospitality from mid-June to the end of September, depending on the weather. Enjoy a selection of Austrian and German specialties and recharge your energy for your alpine adventures. The Barmer Hut is the ideal place to experience the impressive mountain world up close and spend unforgettable moments in nature.

Mountaineers who want to go higher from the hut face the challenging goals of Hochgall, Barmer Spitze, Lenkstein, Roßhorn, or Große Ohrenspitze.

With a climbing wall directly in front of the hut door and climbing routes with a total of more than 200 expansion bolts, the hut is a paradise for boulderers and climbers.

Ascent:

- approximately 3 hours from the Patscher Alm

- approximately 4 hours from the Antholzersee over the Riepenscharte

- approximately 5 hours from the Staller Sattel over the Jägerscharte
