The history of the house:

The walls of the café have been standing since the end of the 15th century. The ancestors of the Hacker family founded a Lebzelter house in these very walls back in 1774, where they produced the delicately spiced honey cake known as Lebkuchen or "Lebzelten" in Austria. Recipes have been passed down here for 7 generations.
