Frischmann Hut

Description

The Frischmann Hut is located at an altitude of 2,192 meters in the middle of the Ötztal Alps and at the foot of the Fundusfeiler. It is a refuge as well as a popular hiking hut.

Hiking trails:

- From Umhausen (1,031 m) to the Hintere Fundusalm and further to the Frischmann Hut takes about 3.5 h
or with a taxi to the Hintere Fundusalm, then 30 minutes or
- From Köfels (1,401 m) up to the Köfler Scharte and over the highest-placed Tyrolean Waals the "Köfler Jochwaal" to the Frischmann Hut, about 4 h
=Attention: the Köfler Waalweg/Jochwaal is currently not passable!
