Frischmann Hut

Description

The Frischmann Hut is situated at an altitude of 2,192 meters in the middle of the Ötztal Alps and at the foot of the Fundus pillar. It serves as a shelter and is a popular hiking hut.

Hiking Trails:

- From Umhausen (1,031 m) to the Hintere Fundusalm and then to the Frischmann Hut takes about 3.5 hours
or by taxi to the Hintere Fundusalm, then 30 minutes or
- From Köfels (1,401 m) up to the Köfler Scharte and over the highest-lying Tirol Waal, the "Köfler Jochwaal," to the Frischmann Hut, takes about 4 hours
