Frischmann Hut

Description

The Frischmann Hut is located at an altitude of 2,192 meters in the middle of the Ötztal Alps and at the foot of the Fundus peak. It is a shelter as well as a popular hiking hut.

Hiking trails:

- From Umhausen (1,031 m) to the Hintere Fundusalm and further to the Frischmann Hut takes about 3.5 h
or by taxi to the Hintere Fundusalm, then 30 minutes or
- From Köfels (1,401 m) up to the Köfler Scharte and over the highest situated Tyrolean Waal, the "Köfler Jochwaal," to the Frischmann Hut takes about 4 h
