The Dichtl family exclusively serves products from their own alpine and agricultural produce such as bacon, butter, cheese, juices, Kaiserschmarren, and soups in the Merschenhütte. The hut is also an ideal hiking destination for families. Those seeking idyllic alpine living are in the right place.
Ascent from the parking lot at Würfelehütte via the Steinkaastal in 3.5 hours. Over the Speikboden (Defereggental) in 1 hour.
From the Wetterkreuzhütte via Zupalseehütte in approximately 2.5 hours.
