Situated at 2.796 m. Most marvellous point to climb the Großvenediger!

The hosts spoil their guests in a comfy atmosphere with traditionell dishes.

The hut offers "Lager"-beds for up to 100 people.

Ascent: from Matreier Tauernhaus in about  4,5 hrs,  via Vendeigerhaus in about 3,5 hrs 

Huts nearby: via Löbbentrörl to Badener Hütte in about 4,5 hrs, along the Venediger Höhenweg to St. Pöltener Hütte in about 6,5 hrs, via Sandebentörl to Neue Fürther Hütte in about 5,5 hrs.

Summits: Großvenediger 3.662 m in about 3 hrs, Kristallwand 3.329 m in about 4 hrs, Hoher Zaun 3.476 m in about 5 hrs, Schwarze Wand 3.511 m in about 4 hrs
