In these days, we remember with great gratitude Franz Strasser Senior, who turned the 'Smash,' as it was then called, into a true hotspot in the region – a place that brought people together and created stories, where fun and philosophical conversations were never in short supply.The establishment has experienced many highs and lows over the years, but its location remains unique: Directly next to the sports field, tennis courts, a children's playground, the fun court, and now even with little animal roommates that will bring shining eyes to children.Since 2025, Michael Gutwenger stands as the new tenant behind the stove – full of drive, sometimes perhaps with a bit too much enthusiasm, but always with heart. His goal: To not only revive the Rumplstilzchen but to create a place where guests of all ages feel welcome.The summer season starts on July 5, 2025 – in summer we are open daily from 11:00 to 22:00.
