Specialties from the kitchen: Exclusively products made in-house such as Kiachlen, bacon, butter, Graukäse, daily soup,… Ascents: Parking lot Budamerhof (Obermauern) 2 – 2.5 hrs., Parking lot Wallhorn (Prägraten) via Nilljochhütte 1.5 – 2 hrs. Transition to the next hut: Bonn-Matreier Hütte: 2 hours; Bodenalm 1.5; Gottschaunalm 45 minutes. Tip: only 3 hrs. to the less frequented viewpoint mountain "Hoher Eichham"
The walk to the alp can be started from both Virgen and Prägraten and, as mentioned above, offers plenty of opportunities for further walks.
