Situated at the Virgental Sonnseitenweg on one of the most beautiful places in Prägraten with a great view to Lasörling- and Schobergroup and to Matreier Goldried. Walk along a magic larch wood to the hut, enjoy the alpine flora and pick up its wonderful smell.
Suitable for all ages, by mountain bike and in bad weather. Playground, seminar- and conference room and deckchairs complete the offer.
1. place in 2012 and 2015 by „Mei liabste Hütt’n“ and rewarded with the „Austrian walking quality seal“.
Open from middle of May till end of October and from 26. December till 06. January.
Specialities: Tyrolean home-made dishes. Every Friday barbeque with live music between 12:00 and 16:00 hrs (middle of July till middle of September). Possibility to stay overnight.
Ascent: Parking area Bichl 1 h, from Hinterbichl 1 ½ h, via Katin/Maurach 1 ½ h.
Huts nearby: Sajathütte 2 h, Eisseehütte 4 ½ h, Bodenalm via Katin-Maurach/Wiesachweg 2 ½ h, Nilljochhütte, Schmiedleralm
