Butterfly Bird Ceramics is a ceramics studio of a Tyrolean artist who creates handcrafted stoneware ceramics. The pieces are produced in multiple firing processes at high temperatures and are robust, waterproof, and dishwasher-safe. Inspired by nature and the sea, unique one-of-a-kind pieces are created by hand.

Hello, I am Simone, a ceramic artist from Tyrol.

I find the inspiration for my pieces and designs in nature. I love the forests and mountains of Tyrol, but I almost prefer the sea. In it, on it, under it.

All ceramic pieces are designed with a lot of care and are created with a lot of passion and time by hand and piece by piece in my small workshop. Small differences in size and weight are therefore natural and also desired.

All pieces are made of stoneware clay and are heated to 950°C and 1240°C in at least two firings and a respective firing time of 48 hours, which makes the resulting ceramics very robust, waterproof and frost-proof and ideally suited as utility ceramics. Buttervogel ceramics are also suitable for the dishwasher, but they are also happy to be washed gently by hand.
